For more accurate and up-to-date information, please consult your local Brazilian consulate. If you are a citizen from (few) certain countries, you may need an Invitation Letter from the Conference organizers. If that's the case, please send an e-mail to dinei@microsoft.com, with subject [Invitation], and specify exactly what you need. If, for example, the invitation letter should also be sent to the Embassy/Consulate directly by fax, please include the address and fax number. IMPORTANT: please plan accordingly, and apply to the VISA in a timely manner. Some useful links: - USA: consulates in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York, and Washington.
JAPAN: consulates in Tokyo, and Nagoya. CHINA: Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.
Note: The Brazilian Government visa issuing policies for foreign nationals follow the reciprocity principle. The Brazilian Government tries to match its requirements for a citizen of a particular country to the requirements that given country asks for a Brazilian national. In this sense, the necessary documentation and fees to apply for a visa will vary depending on your country. Hence, we recommend you contact your local Brazilian consulate for information concerning visa and any other pertinent requirements for entry in Brazil. | |
